I'm not one thing.
But in all things, I'm a builder.

I started coding when I was twelve. I remember staying up way past midnight, editing CSS for my Friendster profile. I was so into it, so focused, that I grabbed a glass of water and broke it because I was too tired to see straight. My dad woke up, saw the mess. He didn't scold me. Something in how I was that focused on the work made him let the broken glass slide.

That's where it started.

I studied both at UBC and Langara — Cognitive Systems and Web development. They both taught me about systems and how to build from ideas to what actually needs to exist.

Cognitive Systems was multi-disciplinary: computer science, linguistics, philosophy, and psychology. It was built around one question: how do intelligent systems work, both natural and artificial? Perception, language, computation, cognition. The kind of degree that doesn't point at a single career; it points at a way of thinking. Those questions never left.

I started in corporate, and then started working for myself. And that's where I learned what actually mattered. When there's no one to hand things off to, you learn fast what actually needs to exist. Somewhere in that stretch, I noticed something: the capable people and teams who struggled weren't short on ambition. They were short on structure they actually owned, systems that fit who they were, not systems they were forced into.

That observation became everything I do now.

I work with people who want to build their own structure instead of borrowing someone else's. I explore what it looks like to create digital tools that actually serve presence that help you close the laptop, look up, and be where you are. I believe in building with people instead of for them, which changes how you think about collaboration, trust, and what you can actually control.

The work keeps evolving because I keep learning. Every phase teaches me something new about what people actually need, and what I actually care about.

Outside of work, I'm equal parts intuitive and methodical. I think about words more than is probably necessary. I write songs. I'm a Pisces. Better in small rooms than large ones.
